I've been trying to keep a healthy lifestyle by exercising everyday, but, since daylight's savings has happened recently, it's been harder and harder for me to get some exercise out of the day since I usually get out of school at 3:40 and finish my homework at 5:30-6:30 and it gets dark by then.

So, any ideas for indoor exercises or something to help me get my daily dose of exercise?

Push-ups and sit-ups can do splendidly for staying in shape, although they aren't super fun. Sometimes I run around in my basement when everyone's asleep XD That could help: if you have a somewhat big, isolated room.

Eh, not a fan of push-ups nor sit-ups, I just usually rode my bike to the park and back.

And, I don't really have anything like that. I could go to my den, blast loud music and dance.

Lots of stretching, if you know yoga/taichi/martial arts formal exercises, those are fantastic.

Otherwise, push-ups, sit-ups, pull-ups and the like are a nice alternative. If you have a tread-mil, use that too. :]

Yeah a tread-mil will help you lose weight.Or maybe if you have pets, you could literally run around the backyard with them.I do that XD With my grandparent's two dogs and one of my dogs, they're too darn energetic.I guess they keep me in shape.I've actually gotten thinner. But try pull-ups,sit-ups,pretty much what everybody else is saying,it'll help.

    wii fit?

I have an indoor recreation center down the road from my house, if you have one of those, it's an option.

As funny as it sounds, you might want to try getting a dvd for exercise so that you can do things indoors. There are various ones that can help with cardio and such. Or the Wii fit is an option. Some things in the house you can do though you don't seem to like them are crunchies, push ups, jumping jacks, jump rope, maybe get a punching bag or something and some weights.

Another thing to try is perhaps talking to your parents about letting you go out for an hour to exercise before it gets dark so that you can ride your bike or take a run, and then you can come home and do your homework.

i had this problem too, whenever i wanted to excercise and get in shape, i found i never had the time to do so. i ended up drinking alot of protein drinks and doing squats, riding a cycle, using a treadmill. those don't usually take more than about half an hour to get a good workout.

OY! I use DVD workouts. I ain't payin' tonnes of cash just for a membership at a gym that i'll hardly have time for.

Anyways, they are wonders if you can find one that is to your needs. I find yoga n' pilates are good for stretchin' your muscles n' workin' your core. It can be tough at first (if not you're doin' it wrong. xD) but great for you. DVD workouts if you're short on time.
