You may remember me posting about my dog having cancer a bit ago. I was pretty optimistic about it because from everything I was reading it looked like it was nothing. Well, it wasn't. It's lymphoma. The doctor says that without treatment he has about 6 months to live. My family's income is...modest, so we can't afford treatment.

On top of that, my mom just had a baby and I have to take care of him a lot. It's pretty stressful for my parents to I feel obligated to help.

And on top of that this school year is turning out to be way busier than I thought it would be.

So basically I just plain don't have much time for this place. With what's going on with my dog i feel like shіt and just don't really want to do anything. And, I'm really busy. Whenever I come on here, i get this nagging feeling like there's something more important i should be doing. And frankly, I know that feeling is right.

This isn't really a "Goodbye" it's more of an "I'll be here significantly less" notice. Because I'll probably still drop in every once in a while to read VMs and stuff. But I will be here a lot less. So yeah, later.

Like I said in VMs, I really hope everything works out better.
I honestly wish I could help with your dog, I'm part of an organization that assists in finance to pets with lifethreatening issues but it's limited to NJ for now unfortunately. The best advice I can give is to just spend as much time as you possibly can with it, let it know that you truly love it and as unrealistic as it sounds, it may add some more time to the dog's life. The will to live is an amazing thing, even with a terminally ill animal.

Again, KHV is below any kind of important thing in your life, you're definitely right about that feeling, I agree. Focus on your real life, there'll always be a place here for you.
Good luck in school and love your dog, I'll be hoping for the best.

Aw, shucks man. You are right though: right now, there are more important things in your life than this website. I really wish your dog best and hope that some miracle will happen for it. One of my dogs died two years ago and I know how painful it is. At least you get to spend so extra time with him, which is always a good thing. Of course, take care of your sibling too. I'll tel you this much: spend as much time with him/her as possible. I helped raise my own little brother and it's wonderful seeing him succeed and being who he wants to be.

I guess I'll see you around when you can.

    :c

I, sincerly, mean this: I am truly sorry.

I hope a miracle happens and your dog gets better. Or, your family manages to get enough money for the treatment it needs. I have a dog and I could never imagine this happening. I wish I could sympathize with you but, honestly, I could never put myself in your shoes. Meaning, I can't even comprehend the stress/sadness that you must be feeling.

I wish you the best of luck with things. Also, I agree with everyone else. Spend time with your dog as much as you can and your real life is definetly more important than any site. But remember, you always have KHV to fall back on.

Again, I'm sorry and hope things get better for you.
