So I heard there's no swimming in Atlantica in KHII? You gotta be kidding me! So how exactly do you play in Atlantica in KHII?

I wanted to finally pick up KHII soon, but due to this, I'm getting doubts. Atlantica was the most awesome part in KH ever.

You do swim, but in very limited areas. The world for a while is optional |: You basically take part in a musical which is sort of like a mimi-game.

Yeah, Atlantica does suck in my opinion in KH2 but don't have doubts about the rest of the game, its epic xD I suggest you buy it.

Hmm alright then. Yeah I will buy it, wouldn't wanna miss it as a KH fan. Too bad about the Atlantica though. Ah well, enough other worlds to kick ass in.

Trust me, I didn't like Atlantica much in either games. But there are other good worlds to back it up lol.

You can swim in Atlantica, but the world is just...embarassing. All you do is press a button at the right time while the characters sing songs. It's a disgrace to both Kingdom Hearts and all musicals around the world :P. There aren't any Heartless, but listening to Sora and Donald sing is scarier than any enemy.

Atlantica does suck,I turn the sound down while listening to those songs while matching the commands because they suck so bad.

Atlantica was hands down ******ed (no offence). I mean, KH1 and
COM had you fighting heartless in Atlantica, but in KH2 Sora just
reached a new level of embarrssment.

    Unfortunately, that's completely right.

I liked Atlantica in KH1. Sure, it was confusing, but I liked the swimming part of it a lot. In KH2 I was shocked by how simple and stupid the gameplay was. It's really easy, and not very fun. I didn't mind the singing, I just laughed at it. Donald's was scary though... But seriously, what were they thinking? There should have been at least some swimming and areas to explore, it just doesn't feel like a proper world, except that it has lots of cutscenes.

I doubt Atlantica will be back for KH3. If they have the rights to Pixar though...imagine a Finding Nemo world! That's the one Im most hoping for, and it would be a lot less confusing, with great areas to swim through... And Ellen DeGeneres as Dory lol

That part of the game was horrific. Nobody would WANT to do that world unless they were mentally insane (or love Little Mermaid music). Still though, it says nothing about the rest of the game...which is totally awesome.

Or if they want the Oricalcum+ for the ultima keyblade. But yeah, I agree with everyone else. It was terrible.

There is swimming. However, I remember that the only things you do in Atlantica is sing a number of songs, or something like that.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that part. So I guess if you want the ultima keyblade, you'll have to survive the horrible world of Atlantica.

If that's the case, then I belong in a mental facility somewhere on earth. XP I found the singing rather adorable, and fairly catchy.

Although, I do have to admit I did put off going to Atlantica until I completed all the other worlds (save for TWTNW) at least twice for the spell upgrades just so I could breeze through the world and get back to the main quest.

I don't know why they bothered redoing Atlantica. Yes. Yes you can swim, but you don't swim very far without hitting a wall.
