    If that's intended to be him writing names down with his fancy...uh...writing skills, I'd recommend making a slash mark in the direction of his hand.

    And maybe a tad more saturation/color changing; it seems a little plain.

    I'd say more contrast of colors. Light looks too blended in with the background. Maybe make him bolder, and yes, the slash thingy would be awesome.
