So, I was random paging through the KH wiki when this new page came up,

    http://kingdomhearts.wikia.com/wiki/No_Heart

    Looks very familiar right?

As I was saying in here, I figured Xemnas could wield a keyblade, but chose not to. This, and his page in the KH wiki practically confirm that this is his version of Keyblade Armor.

that dont confirm anything your asuming.

if Xemnas could wield the keyblade, but chose not to, then why would he waste time on Roxas "let alone Xion" sense they are the only one who can collect hearts.
and lets not forget the demand for wieling a keyblade, one has to have a heart.

    thought this is intressting indeed.

You used Roxas and Xion as examples of it, but they too, "Don't have a heart". Or at least, Roxas does not.

Although, that is a good plothole I've pondered myself.
Nomura said that Xemnas was most likely choosing not to use a keyblade, but why would he need Roxas if he could use one?

    ...Idea.

What if, in choosing not to use the Keyblade, he actually lost it?

It's probably more like the Armor of the Master: it's Master Xehanort's Keyblade Armor moving on it's own. Since armor itself has no heart and "no heart" is an anagram of Xehanort without the "x", No Heart is a fitting name.

If I'm correct, Roxas could use the Keyblade because he had some of Sora's memories that remembers using the Keyblade which in turn gives Roxas the ability to use the Keyblade even without a heart. Xion simply stole the ability from Roxas during her time with him. And if that's the case, then that should also apply to Xemnas. But since nothing hints about him remembering his previous use of the Keyblade, he cannot. So really he should be able to, but he can't since he doesn't remember and so he lost it, as Umiyuri Papaeyra said.

I'm going to take the easy route, and deny this thing's existence in canon. It's a mirage arena fight, and makes little sense. I think it's just a nice uber boss, akin to the bonus bosses in KH1, such as Kurt Ziza, or to Vanitas Sentiment, and doesn't hold any plot-significance.

in kingdom hearts secret bosses that aren't heartless are usually of importance to the next game, i think theres tremendous significance in this boss...if nothing else due to the fact its called No Heart and looks like xemnas armor...

I think that was Mysterious Figure. Xemnas' armour is just a boss in the mirage arena. It's not even a canon fight AFAIK. I think it's on the same level as The Phantom.

Phantom and Kurt were canon iirc.
But yeah, it's still just a Mirage Arena fight, nothing canon.
Just there for showing off Master Xehanort ditched armor.

Then the same level as the fight with Sephrioth in KH1. (That one didn't happen in canon, right?)

I think that the battle with Sephiroth was canon since afterwards (in KH1FM) a fight between Sephiroth and Cloud starts and then they disappear into the light (just like KH2)

    Non Canon
The fight takes place in the Mirage Arena as well as the fact the armor is covered in Nobody symbols. Xemnas hadn't been born to create the symbol yet.
Sora had no memory of Sephiroth in KH2. While you could argue that he didn't learn of his name, Sora still acted as he never met the guy before. A tough guy like Sephiroth, I doubt Sora would just forget about him. Now it's possible that Cloud and Sephy had a fight since they both were at the same world.

So it's likely that this is just an uber boss, right?

Looks like it. But they might be using it to play up the fact that Xemnas had a keyblade, with this fight. But I really can't see how relevant that is to the plot since Xemnas is no more.

Could it be hinting at the existence of a Xemnas Lingering Spirit?

This is... interesting, to say the least. While I don't think it's really canon, I think there might be a good chance of William's "playing up" theory being right. I mean, it's obvious that the boss is Xemnas, but he DOES use MX's keyblade, not some extra whatever.

I don't see where it will hold any future impact, though, since Xehanort's going to be in KH3.

Kinda what I was thinking. If you look at the armor and the stance the person takes it's not Master Xehanort. I don't recall a single scene where he wasn't hunched over, even in battle. He along the mysterious figure, might be the people who Yen Sid talked about being on Xehanort's side. How scattered and rearranged the elements of life (Body, heart, soul) of Terra, Master Xehanort and even Master Eruaqs are it's not surprising that we would have all these enemies all with connections to Master Xehanort.

All these things point at Xemnas' influence or involvement rather then xehanorts heartless or anything else like it...Xemnas' armor, the way MF fights and even the beam sabers he uses, all of it seems to indicate Xemnas' involvement in some way. my question is why put so much emphasis on him rather then both him and Xehanorts heartless.

it's strange...they are acting like Xehanorts heartless is the one that never existed rather then the nobody Xemnas.

Jump Festa only has the Monstro battle, so no way there is.
