Itagaki isn't doing this since he left a while ago. Yosuke Hayashi, who directed Ninja Gaiden Sigma, is directing this one. I don't know why. Probably because NGS and NGS2 will just be a remake and nothing much different.
This is something i've been waiting to hear. I enjoyed Sigma and i'm glad they decided to make this "Only on Xbox 360" game for the PS3, more cash for them.
Glad this didn't happen when I was constantly looking for a console war, I'd be pissed. However, I don't like how they just take Itagaki's work like this after completely screwing him over. That's like firing Hideo Kojima and remaking MGS4. Either way, this is an absolutley great game. I loved it and put alot of hours into it. Do yourself a favor though, don't jump right into Warrior difficulty it will kill you. You are not a pussy for doing acolyte right off the bat... Unless you've played NGB, then you are a pussy for doing Acolyte since this game is much better.
