Well, some of my friends (girls) think I'm a nice guy. But I have the feeling one of those friends thinks that I'm too nice. She doesn't really say it to me directly but I'm sure she thinks of me that way and well, I'm pretty sick of that image and I want to show her that I'm not too nice (because I'm not), she just knows me like a nice guy because I help her all the time (she had a rough time the past few months). And what I also think is strange is that she already said a few times that I'm 'bad' (when I tease her or when I tell her stories about things I did, what's that called, mischief?) and then sometimes she says I'm not 'bad'. I tease her alot (and she becomes crazy when I do it, she likes it xP) but I don't think that really helps to change her mind. I don't want to change my personality or anything I just want to show I'm not like that sooo any ideas?
You say that she hasn't said it directly to you, well, maybe you should talk to her about it before anything else. Besides, what is wrong with being a nice guy? I personally don't think there is such a thing as too nice until it crosses over into becoming forced and fake niceness. I think the best thing you can do is just be yourself to be honest. Don't worry so much about what she thinks about you and don't feel like you have to prove yourself one way or another. I think that wanting to show her that you aren't "too nice" isn't a good idea, because to be honest you run the risk of coming across like a total jerk instead. If I had to choose between having my friends see me as nice or seeing me as not nice, I know which one I would prefer. From the sounds of it she has no issue with it and it sounds like you are getting along well enough. Good luck with it.
yep it would be insanity to try and make her think your not a nice guy she obviously likes you as a nice guy...no need to change it...lol i hate all these threads about people wanting to be turned into something they're not...just be yourself...unless its causing problems thats the best thing you can do
