I just read about it, not sure if i am excited, we don't have any kind of information. But i guess since it's the 15th anniversary and there's a live action film coming as well it might mean that it's gonna be a remake with the Jinchu arc added. Especially considering there is this new PSP video game coming that includes the Jincu arc characters. Interesting to say the least.
Fayt showed me this earlier today and I nearly shat bricks on the spot. I hated how they ended the original series, so this is a really awesome thing imo. 8D In terms of animation I heard that the studio that animated Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is doing this. Might just be another early rumor, but if it's true...this will be godly.
I just hope they keep the same style and atmosphere the original series had, i have never watched any of the FMA series so i can't judge. I was thinking though, it would be interesting to have the whole series in the drawing style of Trust and Betrayal.
The article I showed Wolfie also contained images that may have confirmed some rumours, I'm not sure though since their translator is, well, shit. But if it's gonna be the same sort of thing as FMA:B then I'll definitely have a watch.
Now i am seriously getting convinced that a remake is actually coming. This this this! I don't like Kenshin angry in that image but thankfully his design along with Tomoe looks like the traditional old Kenshin. EDIT: Plus this! source: animenewsnetwork I confess myself... disappointed.
