Birth by Sleep New Interview with Nomura: Details About Final Mix Extras

A quick list of the main/key points in the interview:

• They wanted to put in a large Disney boss like how they did the Ice Titan and originally planned to introduce a new titan, then Monstro was proposed and so they went with that instead
• No Heart and Armor of the Master were planned to be like the Mysterious Figure, but were rejected due to straying from plot consistency
• No Heart will fight differently than Xemnas (i.e. he will get up and be mobile at some point)
• No Heart is hinted to fight more like Master Xehanort and the same with Armor of the Master as both No Heart and Armor of the Master are to be seen as data replicas of their originals
• The difficulty of the secret bosses in BBS would go in this order:
  Vanitas Sentiment < Mysterious Figure < Armor of the Master < No Heart
• The difficulty of the Armor of the Master and No Heart battles were made to be fought with three players, so it would be extremely difficult fighting them solo

• The Secret Episode: This continues from the Last Episode and is based on Aqua's time in the Realm of Darkness
• Unlike the other secret movies and cutscenes, you play as Aqua
• Important events that connect to KH1 are to occur after the Secret Episode
• The Secret Episode will be voiced in Japanese, like the new cutscenes in KH2FM
• Requirements for unlocking this will be easier and can be unlocked with Beginner Mode, as Nomura wants everyone to play this

Yeah, as suspected. They are just going to be strong bosses, as opposed to anything plot-wise.

I wonder whether if they'll be harder than MF when there are multiple players?

 

If they both don't have a insane amount of attacks with a ridiculously huge death radius, i can see them being easier due to Group Curaga healing the whole team and Unison Rush giving them all an Free shootlock.
Unless there's a player or two slowing down the team that is.

 

That's a pretty big 'if' considering it's Nomura we're talking about here. :lolface:

 

this is some pretty good information. I was personally wondering how No Heart and AotM would fit in the story but thankfully they don't. as for the Secret Episode, being able to play in the Realm of Darkness is pretty awesome.
