Okay! So, This band, I've been listening to them almost as long as I've been listening to blink-182. Pop punk has been the genre of my life since I was a small child, and honestly, New Found Glory has had one of the biggest influences on my music taste, and my life in general. It's weird when I think that they've almost been around for twenty years. I feel old, I've been listening to them since I was 6. ****'s crazy. I saw them with Blink at Warped Tour in 2000. Anyway, My favorite album is Nothing Gold Can Stay, with my favorite Song being Hit or Miss. I know, it's one of their singles, but it's my favorite song anyway. Do you guys like them? What's your favorite album?
I always feel like I used to be in love with New Found Glory (used to be real into pop-punk music back in middle school like TBS and Blink-182), but listening to them recently, I feel like I know none of their songs. ._. But I just love the style of music and it definitely holds a special place in my heart, so not knowing the songs doesn't stop me from continuing to listen to them.I DO remember the song All Downhill From Here, though. Ugh, such a lovely song. Such lovely music in general. I just wish I still remembered the lyrics like I do to TBS.
TBS? And All Downhill From Here is one of my favorites, but Hit Or Miss is my top. And blink-182 is my favorite band, though I should probably be over pop punk by now, since I've been listening to it my entire life, but oh well! The Wonder Years is a good band to check out if you don't know them.
Agreed with muff monkey--pop punk always has that special place in ~mai hart~. I didn't listen to much New Found Glory but All Downhill from Here, Hit or Miss, and some others got more than a few plays from me. I always preferred blink myself, I found them a bit more varied, but NFG is still enjoyable. <3
I really love blink-182, because of how much they changed over time, but never lost their toilet humor, and they also stayed relatable and just, they stole my heart. I can still see them live and laugh my ass off while enjoying a fair bit of fun type moshing, and some emotional feelings as well as huge nostalgia when they play Josie(first song I ever fell in love with).
