Kingdom Hearts III New Disney worlds and how they could fit into the story

As we're all aware, while the worlds from Kingdom Hearts II were absolutely amazing and fun to play through, they seemed to bear less significance to the story than the worlds of Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep.

Kingdom Hearts III needs to channel the likes of the latter when it comes to the worlds and how they fit into the story. So, rather than randomly shouting the names of Disney films, I suggest we have a little extra fun and think of how the potential worlds could fit and how the Kingdom Hearts heroes could have a role to play.

For example, I recently finished watching Oz The Great and Powerful (2013). I definitely think the realm of Oz would make a fantastic addition to the Kingdom Hearts universe.

The Wicked Witch of the East, Evanora, had been causing havoc behind the back of her sister, Theodora. Theodora never knew her sister was the infamous "Wicked Witch" until it was too late--Evanora preyed on her sister's broken heart and goaded her into eating an enchanted green apple which withered away all the goodness in her heart, turning her into the Wicked Witch of the West.

In a sense, the witch Evanora is much like Master Xehanort--she succeeded in luring a gullible soul to its ultimate fate. I could picture Aqua having a personal issue with Evanora, eventually coming into conflict with herself because she once again failed to keep someone from succumbing to the darkness.


How do you think the currently unused Disney films could fit with Kingdom Hearts conceptually?

 

I would really like Treasure Planet to appear. Sora arrives moments before Jim boards the ship. And make Captain Flint a heartless.

 

i would like this game if it has monster inc. on it; just imaging sora in a monster form and having to team to team up with salimon(i think that how u spell it) and michael, it would be so cool

 

Monsters INC, Toy Story.
Toy story would be perfect imo. Sid is the villain (obviously) just as Capt Hook in KH1. You help out buzz, woody & the others to defeat the heartless that are destroying Andy house, or Pizza planet would be a good placement as well. Have Xeranort pop up & command Cid to do evil and just go from there. i think Toy Story world would be awesome... just need to have Pixar lend the rights to it. Disney is okay with lending there rights obviously, but its the same reason we havnt seen deep jungle since KH is because pixar wont give up the rights, therefore only disney movies, not disney/pixar are in KH series.

 

dont think so or else they wouldve added deep jungle into another KH game other than just kh1. its such a popular level that i know they wouldve.
