:) Though bloody and violent (and also expresses the creator's 4-years of depression so it shows the dark side of mankind), but good too.

 

ive seen episodes of this and part of a shortened version made into a movie. i was quite confused by it since i did not get the complete story but it was very interesting. the art was great. i wish i could have seen more of it to fully understand the story. its was a bit bloody, but it was worth it.

 

I didnt think it was excessively bloody or violent at all. It had a dark, violent story and portrayed fighting as what it was-chaotic. The writing is perfect and the art draws you in. it has one of the most emotional stories ive experianced. I rank this among my favorites (standing with GunGrave, Loveless, .hack, FullMetal Alchemist, Chobits.)

 

Arc likes .hack? That makes KH-Vids .hack fan count up to 5. I'm watching ep 17, where EVA 03 goes berserk.

I heard that Evangelion was pretty good. I've seen a few episodes.

Isn't Eva a little to messed up to be talking about here...lol. Anyways yeah the Eva series is awesome. I just got the directors edition of the movies and the series. O also good news, 4 new Eva movies will be coming out. I believe 2 this year and 2 more next. I can't completely remember.

I love Evangelion! Though it's so confusing; whenever I rewatch it I learn something new each time. It was the first anime I ever loved though - I have all the casettes :3

Does anyone else read the manga? The art is gorgeous, but the story is way different (even some of the characters are different) from the anime itself...it's not bad or anything, was just unexpected.

 

I've read on Wikipedia that Shinji is more evil in the manga. Too bad none of the games were released in America.

 

Which is EXTREMELY weird, since Shinji in the anime is a shy, weak little pansy ._. (well he has his moments)

 

Hm, yeah. I liked that universe in episode 26, that was a nice one.

 

Well if my info is right they are planning to release an Evangalion game right after the next movie and there is a definate chance it is heading for the US

 

I saw the entire series, and the two movies.

Probably the best anime of all time if I had the choice to say so. :/
