Need help figuring ou how to play my back up with armax and swap magic coder!

Now I know coder has its own cheat feature buuut... I don't like having to start from complete scratch and having to enter all the code manually that includes the mastercode so that's why I want to use armax to use cheats, but it seems that no matter how many times I use cheats and try to load my backup with coder I always get this black and pink screen that says no disc inserted in the ps2, any help to help me get around this problem would be most appreciated. Thank you!^ ^

 

Not gonna work. Only option is swap magic coder cheat system. Sorry.

 

The only option is to insert a genuine copy of AR Max.

Now if it's codebreaker that's a different story...

 

I do have geniune copy of ARMax...but what I would like to know is, how to get around the problem with the pink & black screen--that says, "there is no disk inserted in the PS2"...? ^ ^

 

Have you checked to see if it's the disc by trying other discs?

 

As I said before, you will not get this to work. it can be done with other cheat devices, but not ARMAX. I shall explain:

It can be done on other cheat devices that accept the '9' type M-code (Codebreaker, Gameshark, Swap Magic Coder) because of how it hooks the games code to call the cheats. '9' type M-codes do not activate cheats on any game other than the game that has a JAL at the address given in the M-code. When you use ARMAX then swap magic directly after, ARMAX (which uses 'F' type M-code) activates the cheats on Swap Magic Coder, causing problems since the cheats are not meant for it.

Again, it's annoying, but just use Swap Magic Coder cheat system.

 

Ah kk ty majic, however even just using coder I still get the pink and black screen that's why I need help figuring out how to get around that.=/

Yes I've gone through countless blank discs and I still get the same result.=/
