ok, so I've got a long enough list as it is for anime to finish, but I want to start something new. I'm thinking of something like Rave Master or something else, but what do you guys think I should start watching? How about list down all the shows you think I might watch, that's related to things like Bleach, Yuyu Hakusho, My-HiME, Black Cat, and things like that
Personally I'd recommend Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann It's quite filled with action (almost every episode has a fight), and it also deals with some psychological stuff similar to Bleach yes i mean you aizen It's only about 27 episodes, but the series will blow you away with how much they pack in it. All of the episodes are on YouTube too, so I do suggest you check it out. o:
Looks like you're thinking mostly along the lines of action/adventure storylines? My main recommendations would be Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann, Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha (may need to overlook the blatant fanservice), Yuusha Oh GaoGaiGar (an old one, but still pretty cool), or InuYasha (not watched it myself, but it does look good).
A great 27 some episode series to watch would be Samurai 7. It's got your action, love, and of course Samurai in well done post apocalyptic Japan. I thought that was best over all, and i'm an uber critic when it comes to things like this.
New episodes of Pokémon: Black & White are airing every Saturday on Cartoon Network, and this current season is not that bad, so I would probably watch that.
Well, Gurren Laggan is a promising anime Talking TV Series that I watched would be Zero no Tsukamia Saitio, a normal Japanese boy is summoned to anther world by Louise, a noble magician and student at Tristan academy, Saito has become her Familar as he tries to find a way back home, ZnT has three Series containing 12 episodes each Cardcaptors/Cardcaptor Sakura Sakura Avalon/Kinomoto is your everyay normal Grade School student but one day, while coming into the house basement, she discovers a book from her dreams which contain a deck of cards which contain magical powers, when by accident, she utters one of the cards names, she releases he other cards into the world and the Guardian of the Book, keroberos in form of a plushie mouse-like form makes Sakura a Cardcaptor, one who reseals the cards that she released. Tsubasa Chronicles An series where all of CLAMP's previous works come together in a new story, Syaoran and Sakura live within the Clow COuntry and one discovery of the ruins has Sakura sprout wings containing her memories and it is up to Syaoran with new allies to traverse alternate realms in search of these feathers. Digimon This show has six different Seasons but series 01-02 are connected to each other while the others are different worlds, basically, humans partner up with Digital creatures of data called Digimon, short for Digital monsters.
so I think I've tried some of Samurai 7 on netflix but I'm not entirely sure. I've watched Tsubasa Chronicles, but I keep losing my place, so I don't think I've even gotten past the second world. Cardcaptors I loved as a child, and I still love it. I was at episode 30 when I stopped, but I couldn't find an episode with good quality. I've watched basically every season of Digimon, just not all the episodes except the last and the majority of Digimon season 4(probably my favorite right under Data Squad) I've thought of Gurren Laggan on netflix, but I don't know, what does it have in it that makes it really good with action and stuff?
just noticed this. Why do we have two people with Cloud and 4 numbers after? That's going to confuse me. I've really thought about it, but how far in the series do they go? I've read the book, and hoping they continue it a little faster, because it's rediculous how long it's taking to make 1 chapter, but if it's really short, I'm going to be disappointed. Like, in the show, do they do the whole artificial deadman thing?
Cloud3514 please tone it down, this thread is for giving Aqua101 anime recommendations, not discussing copyright laws. If you'd like to do that, there's a Discussion section, please use it. Anyway, as Kubo said, this thread may help: http://www.kh-vids.net/showthread.php?114680-Anime-Recommendations-Thread I'm not really into anime that much, but have you tried One Piece? I've always enjoyed it, a bit silly but still action-y and stuff.
yeah, if I remember correctly, the episode I was at was when they first entered the grand line. It was like the very first episode of the Alabasta kingdom, or whatever is was called, arc
