need a video converter for camstudio recorded video!

hey guys, I need a video converter that works with videos recorded with camstudio, I tried using any video converter but it said file not found, this is pissing me off because I have a tutorial I wan't to put on youtube but I can't unless I convert it to a proper video file, any help would really be appreciated. thank you!^ ^

 

CamStudio records to .avi right? You should be able to upload it to YouTube as it is in that case, or if it's too large (as .avi files often are) you can also just run it through Windows Movie Maker to convert it to a .wmv.
Otherwise, is there a certain format you want it in?

 

I tried just uploading it to youtube but it gave me a msg saying It can't upload my file or something like that, and windows movie maker huh...I'll try that but my tuts are on my bros laptop so I'll try that when I get the chance to use his laptop.^ ^

 

Check what codec you are using to compress. I recommend you use the CamStudio Lossless codec from their site.

Sometimes youtube is having issues with uploading videos... try again later, it will work probably.
