    >VLC sucks

This is a fact. So let's avoid that option.

I need a media-player capable of the following:

    >Changing language settings and subtitle settings integrated into the file
    >Capable of playing very high resolution videos (we're talking 10gb-20gb movie files here) without issue
    >Has an audio booster
    >Able to be screen-shared across programs like Skype and Google+ Hangouts

    Got any recs, /khv/?

I use KMPlayer, which is pretty awesome and capable. I'm not sure about the audio booster, only because I've never really looked for it, haha. Everything else though, check.

Foobar is a lot more lightweight though.

Less CPU usage, overall just...Lighter/simpler (not to say it lacks the necessary features). Not as bulky. Kind of like how VLC is.

I'm only guessing, though. I have Foobar, but I only use it for music.

I'm running a rather crap laptop and KMP doesn't lag me or anything, though. I got it as a VLC replacement and I haven't had any problems.

Everything but the video part. Nothing free I can recommend.

Video as in HQ video or screen sharing compatible?

Free isn't an issue. So long as it isn't monthly fees, I can obtain it.

I prefer KMPlayer, they are all pretty decent though.

VLC is using its built-in codecs, that's why it's so great.
But if you want a modern media player you could use TotalMedia Theatre 5.

    Pretty much this.

But I like VLC :< Then again I don't use it for much other than just watching anime/movies.

SMPlayer works as well. Never tried KMPlayer. Trying.

Seems to be the same thing, just not as pretty?

    ^Not compatible with screensharing programs

Also, it scrunched up one of my movies earlier. If you ruin my video quality, you're dead to me.

I use Windows Media Player and VLC Media Player -- mostly the latter.

I suppose your computer is a high-end machine and you have no problems with video playback and lagging. Get an average computer and you'll see how valuable that media player is. With countless features, it is the most powerful video software currently.
