Talk about an invasion of privacy. However, I do have to give some credit to the assistant principal, because she had the courage to hug and apologize to the boy for what she had done.

The assistant principle is completely in the wrong here. For one, there's no need to strip-search for $20. Not too mention, what the heck about what she did was legally okay? I would seriously call the school department about that

That's just disgusting if you ask me.

For one, there is no need to strip search a ten-year old. There are other ways to find out if they stole something. The way she went about it seems like borderline pedophilia.

If they absolutely HAD to to a strip search, they should've just had the child's mother do it, like stated in the article. Strip searches are humiliating enough, they don't need to make it worse for the kid by having some "Assistant Principal" do it.

She was in the legal right. It might have been excessive, but she just did her job - Several kids said he stole the money, you can easily hide it within your clothes.
So, once again, a tad excessive, but still makes sense. (And it's not an invasion of privacy, she just did her job).
