For those of you who read the manga or watch the anime. Post your opinion on the series here. I think it's a great manga/anime and deserves some recognition.
I wouldn't say a great manga/anime. It's the BEST. Seriously, I nominate it the most popular anime/manga.
yes i am. here are some spoilers--------> -Itachi gets killed by sasuke -sasuke finds that itachi wasn't bad as people knew through tobi. -tobi is madara uchiha, to former leader of the uchiha -madara controlled the nine tails like a pet and is probably the reason behind the nine tails attack 16 years ago. -jiriaya dies. -the fourth is naruto's father. -naruto goes eight tails and almost went nine tails except his father stopped him -there is a kage summit because konoha was destroyed by nagato, the used leader of akatsuki and because sasuke presumably captured the eight tailed beast. -danzo is shown to have a sharingan and takes out about 20 ninja on his own<------- Theres much more but it would take too long. nothing in shippuden will ever top when kakashi rips haku's heart out after haku saves zabuza. that was epic.
I think the whole Naruto franchise is overrated at this point. I used to like it in the beginning, when things made sense and there weren't a thousand plot twists and characters. Manga-wise, that is. The anime wasn't great. I dropped the series when it hit the fillers because I didn't want to watch an anime that has half a season that's pointless and has nothing to do with the plot, and most of those episodes were downright ******ed anyway. It had potential. But something went wrong somewhere and now it's just kinda...bad.
I think if you take out the fillers from the original series it's basically a good anime, but that's not Shippuden and kind of irrelevant here. Just thought I'd say that now rather then end up ranting for a while about it. I dislike Shippuden after the Gaara Arch to be honest. I rather like the Akatsuki though, they're an interesting group and at least with them you know a little to an awful lot of their individual back-stories. Unlike you do with Organization XIII. But the main reason I hate it is how in the Pain Invasion Arch they kill pretty much everyone, then bring nearly all of them back like nothing happened. I'm sorry, but seriously if you're going to kill half the cast you can't just bring them back in a few chapters time. It just seems like a rather poorly thought out fanfic to me then. I still love the characters though, that's something that isn't going to change for me. Even if they make ******ed plots the basic characters are well thought out and fairly individual as far as Shounen Anime goes.
I like the show but i truelly hate the fillers they are so stupid and im kinda upset that Sesori got killed he was my favorite Sakura would not have survived if Sesori's grandma was not there :(
I think it's spelt Sasori, not Sesori. And in all honesty I think it's a miracle Sakura lived to become a genin, let alone take down a member of Akatsuki.
Well the thing is, unlike alot of other animes/mangas these super techniques aren't handed out like candy. Pein will be the only one to use the revival technique and the technique along with the rinnangan died with him. chiyo's revival technique died with her aswell. theres a chance that sasuke might kill gaara at the kage summit XD sakura has surpassed tsunade so i'm not surprised.
I would simply like to bump up this thread for a few reasons. To begin, the manga is finally done and the essence of Naruto is almost to a close. Soon we will get The Last Naruto movie and the entire series will be finished. Needless to say, as a whole, Naruto was great and the plot was steady the entire way through. Everything had a purpose until the very last moment. 700 chapters of Naruto and Shippuden ended with a full story that will deffinitely go onto my list of favorites. I'm simply sad it is all over and the characters I've grown up with for 15 years are going to be gone. But are they really gone? They are a part of me and so is the story. Finally having an ending... a SATISFYING ending is what I needed. Not to mention the ships. ALL THE CANON SHIPS. Not to mention some of the kids everyone had were just simply adorable. I'm proud of the Naruto series. It's one of the very few that can last long and still remain intersting. Next to be completed should be Bleach. One Piece... hahahaha, that'll never end.
