Hello Guys, Im currently working on my SOTW entry. It's not finished yet - Some CnC would be very helpful. I really am stuck as to what i could add. Thankyou EDIT:
I'm really liking this so far. =] First off I'd recommend trying to smooth out the edges of the circles--they look really choppy right now. I also think you could benefit from some white in here. Right now it seems you've turned your whites to yellows, which is a nice coloring effect, but you need a little bit of white just to create the illusion of some brighter light. Does that make sense? haha. I'm not really sure how to word it. I'm not a fan of the darker splatters over Naruto, either, but that might be a personal choice. The lighter yellow ones are nice though. c:
I absolutely love it so far. It IS a bit dark on either side, but it's still a work in progress so i'll focus on some other things. The bubbles are a bit too sharpened on the edges in my opinion. If you could find a way to keep them from standing out so much, it'd be much better. That's pretty much my only problem with it though. Nice work, as always Jay!
My god this could be dope. Seriously just clean it up. That's it. Get rid of all the little messy stuff around the stock as well as smooth out the bubbles and such and it'll be poppin'. Maybe blur some splatters around the stock or something for depth but seriously... just clean it up. Trust me bro. TRUST ME
The new white border is kinda odd at first, but it's seriously epic! You'll probably win out of Team Hermes... X)
This is pretty awesome. The only detracting things are the little ones, like the semi-rigid bubbles, and...that was almost the only thing I could find. >_> This is gonna look amazing. (:
I also think the text could benefit from being nudged over a little, so that it's closer to Naruto. Right now it feels a little awkward. Then I'd say make it white & raise the opacity, if you lowered it. I like that you're mixing your fonts, though! Otherwise though, looking good. c: I'm not sure how I feel about the border, though.
