Before anyone moves this just because it's not that known or doesn't look it up first this IS a Squre Enix title :)
My friend on FaceBook is going to cry in tears and maybe go buy a gun and shoot focus groups. He really wanted this game since he told me about it about a year ago. x_x
Even though this was originally posted by Siliconera for almost a year I do believe there is still a possibility for this game to come over seas. I just hate these types of people who aren't open minded. You dont need a gun for EVERYTHING.
    EDIT:
I have played this game before, and it wasn't that bad and was quite good.

Horror FPS on DS? No way in hell if that would be good. Immersion would be impossible.

And if the focus group didn't like it; it wouldn't have been a success, thus it's the right decision to not launch it.

They just didn't like it because you dont shoot anything, if that's not close minded then I dont know what is.

Then it is, by definition, not an FPS. An FPS is a First Person shooter.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent pulled it off for one reason; atmosphere. You can't achieve immersion and atmosphere in 8bit. I think the game would've been a flop.

You do know most of the game is in 3D right? From what I've played the 8-bit parts are short then you get back into the 3D. I do believe the 8-bit will give the player a nostalgic feeling.

I would have loved it, I'm all for immersion games where you have to use the console itself to play it.

I hope it does come over to the us as I'd buy it 1st day of release.

Which is why I'm looking forward to the augmented reality mode of Kingdom Hearts 3D.
