With this story, I want to tell everyone bullying is wrong. I know there probably aren't much bullies on KH-vids.net, but I'm using this story to tell everyone NOT or to STOP bullying people, some people are able to handle it, some people get really frightened.

This story is about a girl named Nadine, a slightly autistic student who plays saxophone in the school band. She's been bullied for a long time, and doesn't know how to tell it to others, and plans on set things right by herself.

Well, hope you like it, and please take it seriously, because I noticed that bullying is becoming a really big problem...

    Nadine’s story

    day 1

    Wednesday, 10:58, school halls

A female student raced through the halls of her school. She had black hair, folded into a ponytail of average length. She also had those round glasses that didn’t only cover her brown eyes, but also almost half of her face. She carried a large backpack with her. Wonder what’s inside it?

She was lost in the countless halls again. Luckily, there was a map of the school hanging inside the main hall. She examined it, and ran to towards the 3rd floor. But to get to the stairs, she had to get past Edgar and some other youngsters from the 13th grade. They’ve been bullying younger kids ever since they became ‘cool’. The girl felt her heart beating in her throat. She didn’t want to walk by the group, but she had to, to get to her class. She took a deep breath, and approached the group.

As she passed by, she noticed Edgar looking at her, although he hadn’t mentioned her name yet, strangely. It remained quiet. Too quiet, if you asked her. She couldn’t help but peek over her shoulder to Edgar and the gang, a big mistake.

    ‘’Oi, Nadine!’’ Edgar called.

The girl felt as if her heart stopped beating. Nadine didn’t answer, just continued walking. Every step she took made her more nervous. Out of fear, she started running, but someone pulled her large backpack so hard that she fell to the ground. ‘’Did you miss us, you little tramp?’’ another guy from the group mentioned. Nadine wrestled herself loose.

Edgar approached Nadine from the back, and opened her backpack without her notice. ‘’What do we have here?’’ Edgar said, grabbing hold of a saxophone. ‘’No! give it back, please!’’ Nadine begged. Other lone students who were travelling through the hall only witnessed the event, but just continued. ‘’Heheh, I don’t think so, babe’’ Edgar teased, as he tossed down her saxophone, and stepped on it. As Nadine saw her instrument getting destroyed, her eyes filled up with tears. As the bullies left, Nadine got down to her knees, crying as she saw her instrument in pieces. She could only think of one thing: ‘’Why?’’

    Wednesday, 11: 07, school stage
She opened the doors as she entered the school stage. Yep, time for band practise. Her mentor, Megan, scolded her for being late. Again. If only she knew what just happened. ‘’Well, everyone, get your instruments, it’s time to practise.’’ Megan said. Nadine opened her backpack, and she held her broken instrument in her hands. ‘’What in the world happened to that poor thing!?’’ Megan questioned. Nadine wanted to tell the truth, but she bit her lips, and said:

    ‘’I-I… I fell on it… sorry ma-am.’’

Monique, a good friend of Nadine, who played the trumpets noticed clearly she wasn’t telling the truth. After band practise, she approached Nadine, asking her what really happened. ‘’I already told you… I fell on it.’’ Nadine nervously answered. ‘’Edgar broke it, did he? Those guys are just a bunch of bullies.’’ Monique said.

    Wednesday, 12.33, cafeteria

During second lunch break, Nadine was sitting alone at her table. Not much later, Monique just came back from the café with a dish of today’s specialty: baked meatloaf. Monique joined at Nadine’s table. ‘’Hey, are you feeling a bit better now?’’ Monique asked.

Nadine didn’t talk, but couldn’t get Edgar and the gang out of her head. All the things that were once said to her were really getting to her. Today, she had already been called a tramp, Nadine was frightened to death about what could happen in the afternoon. Monique asked Nadine why she hadn’t told Mrs. Megan the truth. ‘’I… was afraid that…’’ Nadine didn’t finish what she was trying to say. Monique didn’t knew what she could do to cheer her up, and it was quiet between them for a while.

‘’Do you… eh… want some meatloaf?’’ Monique said. Nadine looked at Monique’s dish, then looked at Monique, and looked back at the dish again. ‘’N-no thanks… I’m not hungry.’’ she stuttered, as she put off her glasses to wipe away a tear from her eye. ‘’You really need to eat something, Nadine. C’mon, I’ll share some of my…’’

    ‘’I said I don’t need it, I’m not hungry…’’ Nadine interrupted.

Monique looked at Nadine, causing her to look back. Quickly, Nadine looked down to the table again. She didn’t want to be caught crying at school. The bell sounded. Monique stood up, and said:

‘’Don’t worry ok? We’ll figure something out.’’

    Wednesday, 22:49, Nadine’s room
Nadine was sitting in front of her desk, writing in her dairy.

    ‘’Dear dairy,

Could anybody tell me why I’m being bullied so much by Edgar? Did I do anything to them? Why are they torturing people for kicks, anyway? They’re just a bunch of bullies. Today, Edgar broke my saxophone just because he found it hilarious how I reacted. My musical teacher punished me for being too late in class, but when she found out about my broken saxophone, she wanted to know what’s going on. I said that I accidentally fell on it… I don’t even want to think about what Edgar would do to me if I told the truth.

Monique somehow knew what was really going on. I’m glad she didn’t tell it to the teacher… I hope…

Monique even tried to cheer me up by sharing some of her food. After all the nice things she did to me, I rejected every look at her face, I was just too frightened… As the second break ended, she told me things would work out. I’ve been thinking about what I’m going to do now…

I’ve decided! I know what I’ll do to set things right! I’ll get a ne…
    ’’

But just then she fell asleep. And the morning came closer.

    A very sad story.

but keep it going, it's turning out nice.

    and since you're into a non-bullying movement.
