Fun fact but apparently 104 isn’t enough to get you to the hospital. It’s high but not dangerous, dangerous is 105-107. I am better now though
I actually thought of everything but human temperature when I read that. I was going between "You need to move out of the desert" to "Buy a better fan for you computer" to turn on your air conditioning already".
We don’t use fahrenheit here for anything but measuring like, fever temperature lol. But yeah it’s not the desert it’s the flu XD
To me anything above 65 degrees is a desert, so it's all the same to me. Seems like everyone is getting the flu. Good thing I don't get sick but once every few years or so.
I don’t know if this is true but I heard that the flu shot didn’t cover the strain a lot of people are getting this year and that’s why even people who got it are sick
No idea what hospital worker you spoke to, but that's not true at a lot of places. If a patient walked into my clinic at 104F, they'd certainly have our staff's attention. Glad to hear you're better, though.
Gotta side with Advent on this one. Luckily most thermometers over the counter read high so the likelihood of you actually having 104f is kinda low.
Oh don’t worry a hospital person or doctor didn’t tell me that or anything. I got told to suck it up for that said reason at home (that it wasn’t high enough to go to the hospital) so I just assumed it was true lol. Good to know though if I ever need to like, go there myself. That makes sense, it’s better for them for read it as a little higher then it actually is compared to it being lowered then it actually is lol.
