My PC's sound died...

    It just happened suddenly, I've tried re-plugging the speakers thousands of times. I just scanned for viruses and nothing.... any help would be appreciated.

    Are you getting any sound at all from the speakers or are they completely not working?

    In that case, check your sound drivers and make sure they are up-to-date.

    It could also be your sound card.

    Try plugging in some headphones (not into your speakers, into the actual headphone jack) and see if you get sound. Your speakers could just be busted.

    Yeah either speakers are screwed or the sound card drivers need to be installed.

    Guys, I plugged in some headphones and I can hear stuff just fine. I guess it's the speakers then...
