seriously, I tell him hundreds of times that I'm not going to help him with minecraft, and he doesn't get it through that thick head of his. He even called our parents to complain and whine, just like the baby he acts like, all so he can play that game. I told him I wasn't using my email, and that's that; I'm not using my email for something like minecraft. I need to find a way to get him to listen or so help me, that kid is going to end up whining for real when the time comes.

 

Duct tape. It works wonders.

Just help him out quick and get the problem off his/your back.



He might start looking up to you if he doesn't already. Feels good.

Oh I do help him when he asks. The problem is I'm not going to help someone who complains just because he doesn't get help within 5 minutes. All he had to do was wait, but instead he tried to call my parents again. I ended up hiding our phones, in plain sight I might add, so he wouldn't complain again. Honestly, it would be nice if that kid would learn how to download stuff already. It would save me some time. Even my parents are irritated by his persistant whining. I mean it, he whines about every little thing. If I'm holding a ball or something and messing with it, he complains, even when he has dozens of other balls scattered across the house

I was learning how to download and install when I was 9, and he's 10. The kid has seriously grown up sheltered compared to me, my older brother, and sister. He thinks he can get people to do things that he doesn't want. He doesn't want crust when he's already made a sandwhich, he asks for it to be removed; he wants to watch a different channel on tv but doesn't know where the remote is, he asks us to look for it for him; he doesn't know how to get on something like youtube, he asks us for it(and I've told him to use google hundreds of times. Even for when he doesn't know how to spell something)

"Good for you, now make sure you don't come to me whining for some simple task. I have a life too you know"

 

That's more reason why you don't want it!

 

what's funny is that when my mom was pregnant with him, I was like "Oh yay, I'm no longer the youngest."

Teach him to download **** and leave him to waste his time while you chuckle?
Or help him in these years where he's still too young to really get it and realize you're not going to deal with it forever.
