Don't know why I was ever active hear, but anyways, I want to try and post looking for a new forum to call home. Here are some of my gfx I use Photoshop CS3 to make them I have actually stopped making gfx for some time, I should really go back :/
All but the second one are good. These are magnificent. The reason I don't like the second one is because of the low quality on the stock. Other than that one, all others are perfect. 95/10 overall.
1st and 3rd are the only ones I like. Interestingly I've tried to use the stock in the 3rd one before, but I couldn't come up with anything good to do, I really like what you did with it, the only cnc I could have for it is the red band on her arm is off color, maybe change the color to pink to match the rest of the effects.
Hmm, the one you mentioned seems to have the most bizarre liking amongst my others. Some people consider it good, some don't, I really don't know how tht is. It might be the quality, I didn't sharpen it that well, since I wanted the background to stick out too since it was a vector
The blurred background adds to it, trust me. It increases the depth so much that it makes it really an amazing piece, most artists either don't have the talent or the nerve to blur most of their background and have it still look good. The fact that there's still detail in it, despite the unsharpened finish, adds to it as well, it really brings out Tifa as the focus. Really nice stuff you have there, man.
I like them all except for the second. The fourth one down is especially fantastic. Very nice job. And yeah, we have a pretty homey gfx area here. Maybe not always active, but... lol
4th one has the potential to look incredible, if it wasn't for the extra, sharpened, stretched, scatter of effects at the bottom to fill up space. Alongside that, other one I like a bit is the first. The style's a nice one to have, but I'd suggest to work on not clumping your effects together once you have every other aspect of the tag set up. It makes it look rushed rather than neat and crisp. I have more of a chaotic style myself that I'm gradually working out of. So in this case, I'd challenge you to finding other methods of making your effects /merge/ together, rather than throwing them in there. Then for this style - Color might be an issue. I'd suggest to start combining more layers of colors on top of each other, otherwise your pieces may start to look a bit flat and monotone rather than engaging and 3 dimensional. Step outside of your comfort zone.
I try and not spam on too many colors,, ie gradients, because sometimes it doesn't look well, but I'll try some stiff out. As for everything crushed together, thats sorta a habit of mine I have to learn how to stop D: Thanks for feedback, always appreciated ^^
Thats considered stealing :/ also since I tagged all of them, but I don't mind making a signature for you. As long as I'm not breaking any rules O.o
I love the third one, its gorgeous, for that one I give 10/10. For the rest of them...I don't know, they aren't really exciting, or something....9/10
T^T You make me miss my old PhotoShop CS2. *hugs the last folder of it* I was such a Dumbass to get rid of it... I like every single one of them, but the third. It's sorta like the guy blends in with it. But the coloring is great. I love but dislike some it, you know? Love the others. 100/10. <3
wow, these are absolutely amazing O_O i love the 4th one the best. I cant think of anything to critique here.
sweet we need another graphics person here (lol bad at grammar amirite?) since all the others are going inactive i love the 1st one the most, i usually see this style in sigs, bad ones i mean you twisted this style into a beautiful style, kudos to you
