Alright, so for christmas i bought Photoshop Elements 8 and i have been playing with it ever since. Here are some ot the pieces that i have made so far. *please note that these are the first ones I have made so they might seem bland* CnC please... :}}}
well for signitures the technique you use are two renders and then text in the middle, which looks not at all good, and it also seems all you do is splat random preses behind a render. oh yes for the first one, it makes no sense for Ventus is not Roxas im so sorry i can give no proper CnC, but there are some really good tuts for these things here
Well I have to say...you did a LOT better than my first time... Ok, What I find with these sigs is that there are at least 2 focal points. You should really only stick to one. For example, see how in the first sig you have Roxas, Ven and the text in the middle, i suggest you have either roxas or ven in the sig, not both. Kudos for that text though, that's pretty good Ur second and thirds sigs have the same problem, but I would suggest using a different effect for the text. the "Zack Fair" text is pretty good, but the ones with the white around them don't look too good... Ur avvys look VERRY good, I especially like the blue one! good job! =) Keep practicing and you'll improve^^
Thanks :] Ya, i tried to make the first one only have Roxas in it but then it seemed kind of boring so i added Ven thinking that it would spice things up but then i started to play off of the two renders around text. And now that i think about it, they are really repetative. As for the Zack Fair sig, i was trying to make the bottom text stand out a little, but it seems "misplaced" now. And the backrounds... >.< I am having a hell of a time getting them to look nice but they look exactly like how baman described them. The one that looks really bad would be the Zack sig, it just doesn't look that well put together. The avatars were really fun to play around with, and i agree, the Blue Roses turned out really well. :} Thanks a lot!
These look pretty basic, but it's definitely something. I like the text in the first one, but it still needs some working on. Also, try and blend the stock/render with the actual background. Overall, the best thing is to practice, download some new fonts, and start playing around with the tools. For the sigs, you should try and make them 100x100, or uniform.
