I've been playing Silent Hill 3 for about 2 days now. So far I love it. The use of dark areas is amazing. For example I back into a room where I killed a monster and when I went back a monster that wasn't there came running out from a corner. Usually games like these dont scare me (I am someone who is really hard to scare) but 1 out of 10 times something will come at me like when I open something from a desk for the 10th time and something pops out at me. If that scared me then it should be scary for others so I recommend it to anyone who has played at least the first Silent Hill game (Silent Hill 3 is a sequel to Silent Hill 1) or is just a fan but never played it.The music style in the game is just like how I remember it from the first game. What you may think is background noise or monster sounds is really the BGM playing. (My toughts on HD collection below) Spoiler There is the HD collection coming out that includes Silent Hill 2 and 3 that got pushed back AGAIN but I heard rumors Konami is trying to get the old voices so players can have the option to switch the voices between the new and original voices in Silent Hill 3 like in Silent Hill 2. If it doesn't have the old voices for Silent Hill 3 then I wont get it, I dont want a incomplete game in my collection and I am not even interested in Silent Hill 2 (story-wise) to begin with.
