My first try at my entry for the poetry contest at my school... Although I made one that I liked better, since I'm not that good with rhyming... but I hope you guys like it =) Deep in the forest Hidden in trees, There lays a small field That nobody sees. This is where I go to hide When life gets too rough And I want to subside. There are plants, butterflies, And chirping birds. My sanctuary cannot Be described with just words. And when the night comes The moon will glow, Illuminating all of the Flowers below. No one can get here, Only I can. I just drift off to sleep, And it's in my dream fan. EDIT: and I know the last stanzas kind of strange... I couldn't think of anything better... >_<
