Due to being in the wrong county, I'm currently ineligible to vote. However, some friendly reminders for those hitting the polls today.

    - Make sure you hit the presidential candidate BEFORE you hit the 'all democrat' or 'all republican' button. The 'all whatever' buttons do NOT count in presidential votes.
    - Some of the machines are 'broken', so that even if you hit the Obama button, it'll still count as a vote for Romney. Watch out for that, and call in an official to fix it.
    - Make sure you go to the proper voting venue. I know some people get confused on where they're supposed to go, but it's really easy to look it up.
    - Please, for the love of Christ, don't **** up our country. I don't wanna have to go on a four year sleepover to Canada.

The country so far appears to be 50/50 and I believe it will stay that way. Both in electoral votes and popular votes. Will most likely end up with the Legislative branch making the final decision. So Romney as president and Biden as Vice? that would be odd.

So long as Paul Ryan is out of the VP spot, I'm cool.

    But you already know this.

Yeah, well, it's honestly more of a hypothetical fear. It's like how it was with McCain and Palin back in '08. If he'd won, she'd have been a heartbeat away from running the country.

Are you honestly telling me that you'd be alright with Paul Ryan running our budget?
    Paul Ryan.
Just let that sink in for a minute before you answer.

    *sigh*
I'm just going to stop myself here before we get into a whole debate over this.

We all have our opinions, and I'm not going to judge solely on who you think is better for the country.

I don't judge others by political ideas. You could think Communism is the best way to go about things and I would just say good for you (with a little bi of mind picking). I truly think Anarchy would be the best system to use, but I am just a crazy nut job. I can admit it though.

You hoping for Obama? You do know that Canada is currently conservative, the equivalent of the American Republican, right?

Well, we're all crazy to some extent.

Insanity is subjective, and we each form our individual definitions of it over time. I just wish more of the assholes I have to deal with would realize that.

Yes, I am hoping for Obama. Honestly, I think Romney is a complete dumbass who doesn't have a grasp on 5th grade biology, but if you wanna go vote for him then be my guest.
It's not about political parties. I could honestly care less about those. I just hate Romney.

ok like on a number scale from one to ten, with one being liberal and ten being conservative, Canada would be considered like negative two if the USA is around five (as most are moderate).

Canadian here. I know, I felt the same about Ignatief (or however you spell that...). He was just an all around distrustful guy. And he sunk his party to the ground.[DOUBLEPOST=1352229884][/DOUBLEPOST]
We are in no way that bad. Maybe two or three.

I'm with you, except I'm more afraid of Ryan than Romney.

Has anyone ever heard him tell the truth?
