I feel as though I had an obligation as a bridesmaid to drink more than I actually did.

But if you got drunk, you wouldn't be able to laugh at everyone being drunk.

It's your job as a bridesmaid to remember all the embarassing stuff for them.

Yea but the thing is I didn't drink that much? I had some sake and that's really it, whereas everyone else was downing the beer like there was no tomorrow. I mean, I'm obvs not gonna get wasted or anything, since I'm underage, but...

Oh, don't worry, YIL that you can't get drunk if you're under 21.

Actually, the laws are usually a bit more lenient than you might think. In most places, underage drinking is allowed under the supervision of a mature adult, usually a parent or legal guardian. Otherwise, communion would be illegal for most denominations of Christianity.

Seems like most weddings these days use beer and alcohol for their drinks. Whatever happened to plain old, yummy Sparkling Cider?

I was a bridesmaid at my dad's wedding & I didn't drink at all so don't feel too bad.

Then again, I was nine years old... DETAILS.

I actually remember being the ring-bearer at my uncle's wedding when I was only 5. I remember thinking myself not to trip, because I always had a bad habit of tripping over my own feet

I've never been involved with a wedding. I plan to keep this tradition going till far after I'm married.

I've been ring bearer 5 times when I was 5-7 years old..... Two are my uncles and three from my aunts....... Man, I go to too much weddings...... Not that there's any problem with that!
