Digital Art my attempt at using layers.

I tried to use layers as best I can. But it just doesn't look right and I don't know what need's doing... Anywya here it is my 3rd attempt at making something with GIMP

I used layers in my currant Siggie, they CAN Drive me crazy. I really like this siggie, nicely done, but im not that keen on the background. 8/10

 

I think the layers are fine,
you need to worry about the text!

 

No matterwhat font or colour I use the 'alone in the darkness' part wont show up right D:

I couldn't get a large enough pic of the street so I used a custom background.

 

Okay, don't use stocks, stocks are for when you get alot better.
Use renders from planetrenders.net
Pm me and i'll tell you how to use them.

Work on blending.

A good way to start is erasing the edges with a size 10 eraser or so. :)
