    Did I really never post a thread on this movie?

    Muppet Treasure Island.
    Basically it is Treasure Island,with the Muppets. And Tim Curry <3

    But it really is a great movie. We have tons of very catchy songs,Billy Connolly in it at the start(his voiceeee) and of course,the Muppets and Tim.
    Come on people,show some love for this movie.

    Buuuuuut from what I saw, it was pretty snazztastic :3

    God, this thing was my childhood. Favourite scene? The Cabin Fever song. It came from nowhere, and still makes me giggle like a schoolgirl even now.

    I remember watching this when I was, like, six! All I remember though is a handful of Kermit/Piggy shenanigans and Sam the Eagle getting thrown overboard... o.O

    I loves Waldorf and Statler in this movie.
    Their zingers made me laugh do hard.

    Rewatched this recently purely for the nostalgia. I was singing "Professional Pirate" and "Shiver My Timbers" all day yesterday.

    And I will admit, Tim Curry's Long John Silver was my first pirate love before Captain Jack Sparrow came along.
