well i'm not really sure, but i have a Creative Zen Sleek Photo MP3 and i think it's crashed. It's stuck in the recovery mode, and i was looking around online and so far it's said either i have to reformat it, using this firmware that i downloaded, or the hard drive's crashed...

When i plug my MP3's charger up, it turned to the black and red screen, but when i plug it into the computer, it'll say 'docked'... i can't reformat is because the computer will say it's not connected and i'm not too sure now what's going on.. the cover of the charger fell off and the wires are out but it charges fine..

Now everytime i turn it on or reset it, it'll go into Recovery mode... my computer can't format it either because it says it's not connected...

So my mom says the hard drive crashed... Is there anyway to fix it? =(

You might just have a brick'd MP3 player. Do you have a warranty on it? If you do, call the manufacturer and see if you can get a new one for, hopefully, free.

I've only had to deal with a broken MP3 player (which was a Zen) once, and it didn't work at all even after I tried re-formatting. Not sure what to tell you. D:
