All right, so last school year (2010 - 2011) I had to disable my cache because Mozilla was having problems staying up-to-date with my online grade reports.

Unfortunately, I think it's now affecting Java and giving me the problems I'm experiencing here. (See the latest posts. Also, if you compare my screenshot and Okabe's screenshot, you'll notice the differences. My screen should look like his.)

Anyway, I can't remember where I went to disable the cache. All I know is that I typed "about:" and some other word in the address bar and changed one of the cache things from true to false.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Where did you hear that the cache might be an issue? I personally stopped using a cache myself and it works fine for me.

Well, it's the only thing that I can think of, as I've tried all other things.

Plus, when I was browsing the Internet earlier, some message came up saying my cache was outdated and that Java was working on a basic level or something as a result.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox?

I have not. I'll try that now and edit this when it's done.

    EDIT: Nope, that didn't work.

What you wanna disable cache for... you shouldn't disable cache, just clean it.

Because every time I checked my online grades, I had to do that, so I disabled it entirely.

So I changed my resolution from 1024 x 768 pixels to 1280 x 720 pixels, and that fixed my issues.

However, things look weird now. Other places are all centered with a bunch of empty space to the sides, but I guess I'll get used to it.

Here's a screenshot showing the change:

Compare it to this screenshot from when it was 1024 x 768:

I guess this can be locked, but I will contact staff if more problems arise.

Yeah, as I was telling you, things get "bigger" if it's a fluid width style when you have a larger resolution.

Anyway, on request of topic creator...
