Lately I've been finding a lot of bands, lol. I fell in love with the band name, and randomly decided to download their album Dawn. I read an article on Wikipedia while it was downloading, and it said that Dawn was a collection of songs Phil Elverum had written in a cabin in the winter of 2002 in Norway. The story was very striking to me, and it really comes off in the album. It's kind of a low-fi acoustic folky sound. Not all of the songs are incredibly unique, but I think it's worth a listen. Good "rainy-day" music. Recommended Songs: Wooly Mammoth's Mighty Absence Moon Sequel Moon, I Already Know I Have Been Told That My Skin is Exceptionally Smooth I can't really recommend anything from the other albums as I haven't listened to them yet.
The only one I like is Moon Sequel which I think is pretty cute. Sorry Misty, I don't like them, it sounds kind of buzzy and irritating.
I agree, Moon Sequel is amazing. <3 It's cool lol, the 'buzzy and irritating' thing I totally understand, it's the kind of thing you really have to be in the mood for.
