This game was awesome as kid, made my sonic team, you went around worlds as a star trying to save your dad and you had stretchy arms you used to headbutt people, thats just flipping awesome right there. it was for the megadrive/genesis and is on the wii shop thing these days, go buy it if you haven't, this game was awesome.
Ah, Ristar, it was one of the best games that I played when I was a kid, though since I've sold my Megadrive and my games with it and bought a N64, well actually my brother's friend gave me and him the Megadrive since he didn't need it. Though I want to play it again so I'll be checking out for it sometime on the Wii shop channel.
