Or Mortal Kombat 9. Or whatever you want to call it.
I got it last night, and I must say the game is amazing. The amount of content in the game is immense. This is how a fighter should be.
I only started Story Mode so far.

Surprisingly, the story is actually pretty deep. I mean, most Mortal Kombat games have an actual story, but this one has a lot of cinematics.
Besides that, the actual gameplay is great. So many combos and whatnot.
And who could not love Fatalities?

So has anyone else gotten the game?

i haven't gotten this game. not sure if i am. i was planning to but i played the demo and i have to say i was very underwhelmed and disappointed by it. i actually feel that in gameplay wise, (i'm sure ALOT of people are going to hate me for saying this) it's predecessor Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe is much better.

though keep in mind, my opinion is based soley on the demo. i don't know how the story mode is but i'll make my decision about getting this when some reviews come out for it.

I played the demo, and it's a breath of fresh air. I haven't played many fighting games lately. I would like to buy it, but I'll have to wait till a super sale.

I also played the Demo as well. It's quite a step up from MK vs DC. So far, of the 4 characters presented in the Demo, Scorpion seems to be my favorite, but I'm sure that'll change when I do get the game. I wonder if Johnny Cage's Nutcracker move works on girl characters....ah, never mind.

Would be a sure one if I had a PS3.

Never like Mortal Kombat games and i always swayed towards Street Fighter.

After MK vs DC i was hooked and after playing the Demo i want the new one even more. Before i go out and buy it, is there any character creation?

None. Mortal Kombat Armageddon (Or Deception. Forgot which) had a character creation. It was terrible >_>
I'm actually happy that they didn't add Character Creation in this one.

I finished Story Mode a few hours ago.
God it took me forever to beat the final boss. (Which, if you know your MK history, you should know who it is)
And yes, there will be another MK. The ending obviously states it.
