Really, I don't think it matters at all. People want Disney stars and kid stars to stay kids forever and it just is not reality. I think it's rather stupid that someone would take nude pics of themselves and pass them around but hey, that's their choice and the only reason I think it's stupid is because they get negative reactions or 'too positive' of reactions and then whine that their lives/careers are ruined by it. Can't say how many people I've laughed at because they were stupid and let someone have naked pics of themselves and suddenly they're posted on the interwebs. It's more funny to me than the person who has unprotected sex and goes 'I'm pregnant!' or 'she's pregnant!' and whines because of the reality check that they knew could happen did. At least with pics it hurts no one but themselves.

People need to think before they do some things. Having said that... still I think that people should just leave the girl alone and that it's obviously time for her to just not be in kids' shows anymore. She's simply not mature enough to handle being in a kid's show and people out there have their set dispositions that if someone is an actor or actress for kids' stuff, that they must be clean all the time. I think that's funny because girls get hit with this more than guys. There are quite a few male actors that do things for Disney and have been in quite a few R rated movies with a lot of sexual scenarios such as Rocky Horror Picture Show, and yet the men are never brought up. Sometimes they are even applauded for doing movies for ranged audiences instead of just mature ones.

I know exactly what you mean. First of all, it's stupid that they would even want to risk exposing themselves to the world like that. Second of all, it doesn't really matter. All these websites and news stations are like "this is srs busns." When this stuff is really unimportant, when wars are going on and people are dying, this is what's covered. Gossip and Human Interests.

Yep, you said it how it is. It's hilarious when you think about it how something so small becomes headline news with everything else in the world being minor in comparison, yet it's so much more serious. xD

Like Michael Jackson's death. Every other country in the world got over it in 2 or 3 days. We had to mourn him for weeks, whether we wanted to or not. The media is really insane and it's doing a poor job of, well, doing it's job. To keep people informed about the ongoings in the world. It's sad, because when I want to know about news in Israel or something, I have to go to jpost.com to get specific news that's otherwise not even in the media here.
And it certainly doesn't help that newspapers are cutting back on sections because of the recession and all that. And news channels only do repeats every 2 hours.

I agree with news like the situation in Israel being more important than a celebrity's life, but Michael Jackson was a true idol to millions worldwide, while Vanessa Hudgens, as well as every other pop-star from Disney Channel, should not be deemed worthy of such attention. They're pretty much doing this stuff just so media will talk about them and they can feel important.

I will agree that MJ was an idol to many, many people all over the world. But is 3 weeks of nonstop coverage really necessary? I don't think so. He was a guy, and he died like everybody else eventually does. It deserves two, maybe 3 days coverage, but it wasn't so important that everything else had to be dropped. And it's partly because he's black. Or was before all the plastic surgery. It was a race issue and they "had" to cover it or everybody would be calling the media racist.

I agree, just wished to say that Michael Jackson was actually worth coverage, not this whore of a Disney star.

I can understand the coverage of MJ's death a lot more than I can this girl's nude pics on the internet. MJ -died- and he was a big celeb that really innovated music in the 80s, let alone he and the Jackson 5 were well known in the 70s. He was also rather controversial. So the media coverage on him, though I agree it was overdone, was at least understandable. She's a kid star and lucky if she can even break into acting after Disney lets her go.

Well firstly, pics or it didn't happen.

Secondly, why does it matter? It's not like children are going to be scarred for life. An easier solution is simply not to broadcast it to the whole world when something like this happens. I doubt very much that children are going to be searching for nude pics of Vanessa Hudgeons online.

Oh, lord...Why does any of this MATTER? Does it really affect our lives if some Disney actress decide to take some nude shots of herself, or take some Vanity Fair shots with only a freaking sheet wrapped around them? These things only get turned into a big deal because people give it the attention it doesn't deserve. If the girl wants to be stupid enough to take naked of herself and send it around to her buddies, it's only a matter of time till it ends up on the internet. Also consider the fact that some of them are done on purpose to get attention on their plate. Hell, Lindsey got her ass famous for being an idiot...so why not use the same ploy to get higher ratings. Bad publicity is apparently good in Hollywood.

This isn't about her only either, because this crap happens to a lot of NORMAL people too [aka sexting]. Many idiotic girls listen to thier beloved boyfriends and take a nice shot of their naked body and send it over to them. Yeah, it's all giddy fun and game until they break up and suddenly the photo is owned by half the people in her school, or on some porn website. Bawwww, now you cry about it. Tough luck there. It's only a matter of "think before you act"...but who actually sits and thinks right?

Man, even Daniel Radcliffe wasn't talked about so much when he walked naked across stage, freaking people out. Media really knows how to mess with things when it really doesn't deserve the attention.

    lol

maybe it's a publicity stunt to gain popularity or something.

Although, I don't think that many kids will actually read the news/hear it

so, i guess maybe nothing will happen.

    This times one thousand.

I'm getting so annoyed with the fact that people have to leach onto celebrities and exploit every little part of their personalities. Why can't we just treat them like normal people? Hundreds of girls take nude pics of themselves and they end up on the internet, but just because some girl who was in a few movies and makes mediocre records does it the media explodes about it.

Anyway, I really can't see why you would ever send nude pics to someone you weren't sure you could trust 100%. And I don't mean trust as in "OH HE'S MY BOYFRIEND I LOVE HIM YEAH WE'VE BEEN DATING FOR UM 3 DAYS BUT WE HAVE SOMETHING SPECIAL" but trust as in you know they would never pass them on.

    encyclopedia drammatica is your friend.

anyways, what is she? over 21 now? I mean it does not really matter, its just the fact she is a disney star, same reason Miley got the treatment on the vanuty fair, i mean a sheets alright, not like Demi's birthday suit or anything like that.

anyways yeah Vanessa is in her 20's and Paris made a video, but people let that go because she is old enough and was not famous by disney(and everyone knew she was a ****]

But like Misty said, She should only send them to people she trusts and well, in a more private way
