Pic dump. Mostly design related, I feel like the technical aspect is just not here. Oh well Cnc at your discretion. Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler
Oh wow, there are a lot here. I think these are really good, and since you've designed them yourself (am I correct in this assumption?) they are even more interesting. You are really good at drawing, these look all in proportion, even though I've never seen them before I can still make out there shape. I suppose the main drawback is how they're colourless and more doodle like than actual drawings. If you tidied up the lines and added some shading and a shadow/background then they would look a lot better. But as they are I think they very good and creative.
You're right, I've designed them all. I design everything I draw because I'm piss poor at copying. Yeah, the loose lines are my fault for being so reliant on the erasable media I'm used to and my lack of discipline. I actually hope to one day get better at the greyscaled monochrome medium. I feel like there is a lot more dynamism in the stark contrast and color is a drawback for some drawings. The fact that they are indeed sketches and not finished drawings is another throwback to my lack of ability and discipline. Shadows on top of textures and details are pretty much impossible for me with the current tools and skills with said tools I've got. Since this was a design exercise to begin with I'm pleased with your response but it's a reminder that I'm far from where I need to be. I'm not really sure what your own level is but I'd appreciate it if there is anything specific you could add as far as technique advice, like how I would go about doing the shading or backgrounds perhaps, since the general things themselves are pretty self evident.
