i think that everything should be taken for face value. what you see is what you get. nothing hidden or anything. i say this because after the second marking period one of my teachers sent a note home with my report card saying "dan plays with a rubiks cube during class, paying more ttention to games than to work." to which my parents confiscated my rubiks cube. eventually i got it back. but, i was told its not to leave the house. this weekend i put it in my jacket because we had a long car ride. i forgot it in my jacket pocket. when i got to school i realized it was there, so i brought it around school with me. i got to fifth period, with mr. horan, the guy who wrote the note, and i walk into the class, put my dinder down, put my rubiks cube down,(we just moved into a new building after 3 years construction) and he says "no rubiks cubes aloud in the new building," and takes my rubiks cube with no warning what-so-ever. i can get it back at the end of the day. i told my best friend this and he says"on your report card you should have read between the lines and known that he wouldnt allow it back. but he didnt say that....to which i got into a discussion about this on hjow people arent mind readers, and everything that you want meant should be said.

so, people i ask, should everything said be meant and everything meant be said?

i think it should. please post....

    p.s. sorry for the length

Yes people sould say what they mean, because sometimes people by be too tired to read between the lines, but sometime people can't help but not say what they mean, I know I do it some times
