A game that takes place in the Metroid Prime universe, Metroid Prime: Federation Force puts players in the position of a Galactic Federation Marine and assigns various missions all around the galaxy. The game has a large focus on multiplayer co-op, offering various missions to play with friends, and featuring a multiplayer minigame called Blastball (first shown at the Nintendo World Championships). Despite the focus on the Federation and co-op play, Samus herself will appear, and there will be a single-player campaign mode that contributes to the overall story of the Prime universe. The game will be released for the 3DS in 2016.
I love how Nintendo demos their games at E3. They just hand the Treehouse folks the games and let them play. So refreshingly honest, especially compared to when you see Ubisoft's terrible scripted "mic chatter."
