I know, is the new definition of crappy, I tried to do a sig by myself, so CnC please, a DECENT one please, so I can improve it.
Add some FG splatter clipping masks to it. And give it a predominat lighting source, and graidient/photo filters. slap on some Filters maybe, sharpen and blur, and give some depth.
I already give everything to the sig exept the FG splatters and the predominant light source, which I know how to do it in Photoshop (I have both PS and GIMP)
Yeah that doesn't make much sense... Okay, dude sharpen that background quite a bit, either that or blur the render. Add something for foreground effect, it really needs it. Maybe add a sepia photofilter for blending, that might help it.
I'm not seeing the difference between the two. All I see is a splatter brush over the face which is a no no, with a lower opacity.
Let me find them... EDIT: http://xaliasx.deviantart.com/art/Special-effect-brushes-set-2-45942086 There's the set I used in your sig.
Chaser if you have have an question on good clipping masking you can PM me. Normally to add FG, you want to do it low and infront of the render. You can look up tutorials to correctly doing so, I have a good tut that will help you out I think with that. Just PM me if you want it.
