Background doesn't go with the render at all. Is that white line pentooling or a brush? If it's pentooling then check the little 'apply preasure' box. Work on blending and FG efects. Some smudging would be nice too.
Like Ghetto said the background doesn't match the render sticks out and does not blend in.It also looks plain just a background,render,and a brush.As for the avatar I dunno what to say it's not much...though I don't know what it is xD.But I guess they're okay nice work .
