Tested out the MD code for Iceseed. I got Iceseed K from a green mystery data. I got ShipKeyB from a blue mystery data. Kinda buggy but works where it's supposed to.

Try to turn the codes off before visiting purple or blue mystery data as those are usually important for the story line and are sometimes 100% needed.

Will do so. Tested out Life Aura. Works just fine for green datas. Blue data gave me 4. don't know what that is but a bunch of garbled text appeared after that. I'm not saving after getting these chips. Also it said I got it as a K chip but it turned into a D. Possible that all chips obtained this way will be similar in that aspect.

I do believe the trigger for the text will always show it as "K".

Ah ok it seems that way for the new code I just did. FinalGun appeared when I used the code for it but in battle it does nothing.

Certain chips were removed from the game so they are broken and don't work. Some broken chips can work because of leftover data.

All right then I'll test to see if I can find this leftover data.

You don't find the leftover data. Leftover data is in game code that the programmers forgot or purposely didn't take out.

Well then if its left in by mistake than there could be a way to find it then.

In theory yes but a lot of the times broken chips can ruin a rom and gamesave.

Alright then, I guess I'll stay away from those and continue testing.

Like normally a sign of it being broken is something along the lines of no chip image or icon. Or the chip not working when used.

Quick question. Does the MD disappear when you use the codes or can you take an infinite amount of them?

Do you mean does the chip disappear when I turn off the code? Or does the green diamond thingy disappear? Or does the code only work for one green MD?

It only should work on green Mystery Data. I know sometimes with codes like that you will be able to take the Mystery Data an infinite amount of times.

Yeah it only works on greens but it goes away afterwards. It does affect the blues with weird results though.
