Altair seems to kick his ass with more reality.​

 

The cape and the stripes on his clothes are what really make him badass. Two hidden blades seems like a biiiit of overkill. Saw this earlier though and I must say it is definition badass. Just throw in a wallrun ability, atleast two linear levels to change pace up from the free-roam and the 16 new side missions and I'll bite.

 

Oh look Ezio still has all his fingers.

The whole point of the missing right finger in the original Assassin's creed was actually a rather cryptic but important part of the story. It's how you were supposed to tell assassin's apart from regular people, (even though only Altair and the chick int eh laboratory were missing their fingers.)

Besides that, the fingers were removed to allow a space for the hidden blade to be released.

Fashion back then was absolutely ridiculous. As far as trying to make Ezio's clothes fit his time period, I find it strange Altair was the only person in AC1 to be dressed the way he was.

Also, Zack, if you did some research, Da Vinci was arrested as a youth for acts of Sodomy, and was long suspected to have had a sexual relationship with his young pupil. He was gay.

 

Not true. It was a sign of allegiance to the Assassin's. It was not meant for people to figure out who was who for that would give the enemy someone to look for when the rules of the assassin's prohibit such an action. When you marry you conceal that with the ring on your left ring as a sign of devotion (or as it is supposed to be). In the Assassin's they get rid of that finger of devotion and replace it with the blade to show devotion. This guy is clearly just an imitation

Well obviously the finger could be seen as a form of sacrifice to the assassin's, the finger could be removed for any number of reasons.

That still doesn't get rid of the fact that Ezio has all his fingers.

Oooh, awesome ^^ I enjoyed Assassins Creed, me and my uncle found ways to try and make Altair look suicidal, can't wait, for number 2. And I'm not getting involved with the 'fabulous' argument XD

Proof you don't pay attention to the gaming world. All teases contain subtle hints like this. I'd bet money on it he is just an imitation after being denied access or is trying to carry on the assassin's after something went wrong. Either way, he is definitely not an Assassin (yet, he could chop off his finger to be symbolic later but that is speculation)

As for the flying device, think about it. They aren't going to make gliders or anything like that apart of gameplay. It would be highly unrealistic and noticeable gamewise. In the teaser we see wings attached to the back but they look more for falling than going DARK ****ing VOID around Venice.

I withdraw my argument and admit it must be gay and now question my own sexuality.
