Source ... I'm gonna sound like a broken record if I commented on yet another shooting in America. All I can say is that I am not happy at all, and that I don't feel any remorse for the dead shooter.
Condolences to all those affected. Now, please raise your hand if you want all these shootings to stop. *raises hand* :)
To think I was just there a few days ago. I live ten minutes away from that mall and it's an occasional hang-out spot for me and my buddies. It really was one of the few malls in Maryland that I and most others have felt more safe to be in, but I guess it's turned out to be like this. Sure, you hear about many other shootings and tragedies, in which you eventually become desensitized about. But when it happens to a community you live and thrive in, it becomes all the more eye-opening. Anyway, my thoughts go to their families and I hope things will become safer and calmer around these parts. Unfortunate that I never knew about the victims beforehand despite living in the same city, but I can feel like I know them through this very supportive community.
This is ridiculous. It's getting to the point where I don't care if people feel the need to own guns for "their own protection" because I don't feel safe with all of these people owning guns. It is SO easy to get a gun and walk into a mall or a campus and just start shooting. And I'm getting so sick and tired of seeing all the news reports about shootings. There was JUST a school shooting a month ago.. and then there was the retired cop who fatally shot a man because he was texting in a theater BEFORE THE MOVIE HAD EVEN STARTED. I'm just annoyed and I wish it would stop. My condolences to the families that were affected by the tragedy and to the victims.
