    how would things have gone if marluxia's whole turn sora into his puppet thing had gone over smoothly? would xemnas still have won? would riku stop them? or would marluxia just rule the universe

    Marluxia was screwed.

    First, off what brought an end to Roxas and Xion was DiZ and Riku trying to bring back Sora. If Sora became a puppet rather than sleeping then his very being would be sapped until there was nothing left. Unless of course Diz and Riku came up with a plan to save Sora from that fate. Then after howevr long it took Sora would take him down.

    Second, by the time Sora would have become a puppet Marluxia had lost too much due to the Axel assassinations.

    Third, Xemnas had control over nothingness and nobodies don't exist making it essentially imposable for any member to take down Xemnas.

    couldn't he just kill roxas and xion to stop him from dying then get sora to kill xemnas

    He could of, but that would make a really short KH story.

    On the other hand, if Marluxia did succeed, and get Kingdom hearts for his own, we could have seen his human form.

    Now that i think about it, why did Marluxia want Zemnas out of the picture? he hand-picked loyal members to try to overthrow the Organization, but obviously that back fired. I'm not sure he would want kingdom hearts, cause if he was loyal, zemnas would have gotten a heart and so would he. (i think thats what zemnas said, they all would get hearts) but obviously sora stopped them.

    Maybe he wanted more than a heart. He might have been trying to wield the keyblade as well. Marluxia was always having his eye on it and thinking what he could do if he had one. But again, this is just speculation.

    he was just power hungry and wanted everything for his own. Well, him and Larxene, but she was annoying. But he really only asked Axel because he was one of the members that went to Castle Oblivion...I think

    Actually 358/2 shows that Saix was the one who sent Axel since they had their own plans to take over the Organization and Marluxia's group was beginning to get in the way.


    Anyways...Marluxia just wanted more power. He wanted Sora to off Xemnas...hence why he had Namine mess with his mind. <<

    Personally, and maybe this is just me, but I would have loved to see Marluxias attempt at an organization of his own. Marluxia and Larxene were my favorite characters from that game (well, besides Vexen) and I guess i just didn't want them gone just yet.

    No he couldn't because Roxas would defeat him. And even if he could defeat, Sora without a heart is a nobody and I think he wouldn't have the Keyblade. Just if Goofy and Donald be with them. And even with that, any other character would try to defeat him, Leon, Cid, Yuffie, Aerith, and all this gang would defeat him, Sora even without a heart wouldn't hurt them.
