I'm really stuck on defeating Marluxia (first time) on Chain of Memories. Can anyone give me some help?

To do well in this fight, use zero cards to break Marluxia's big attacks and use level 9 cards to pound on him as often and as long as possible. Heal at the end of every card round, even if Sora isn't hurting that much. Sleights are fine, but they don't inflict as much damage as regular cards. Besides, Marluxia has his own reserve of zero cards and isn't afraid to use them.

In addition, Marluxia has acccess to two big sleights: Deathscythe and Blossom Shower, both of which are boosted by his Double Sleight ability.

The first, Deathscythe, summons a giant scythe to slice Sora. It's big and scary, but doesn't inflict a lot of damage. However, the sight of it is enough to make you select the nearest zero card to card break the attack.

His second big attack, Blossom Shower, rains a swirl of sharp petals down on the battlefield. Again, the intro to this attack is impressive enough to make you start searching for a zero card to interrupt its progress.

In other words, use the basic card breaks, be wary of his own zero cards and double sleights, and don't rely on Trinity Limit to inflict damage.

Actually, the first four paragraphs are EXACTLY word for word from the CoM guide. I just forgot to put it in quote tags. :p

I know. I had the guide right next to me and I was about to type it in. But you forgot one:

"Marluxia is an enigmatic foe. You'd expect him to be extremely difficult (his attacks are really impressive looking), but he doesn't seem to inflict the kind of damage you'd expect. Marluxia's weapon of choice is a scythe. This weapon gives him longer than average reach and extends his normal attack range from simple strokes to dramatic slashes. "

    Inside the Boss's Deck
Marluxia's first form has plenty of attacks. To the red "A" and "C" cards, the attacks cresent shockwayve and phantom cyber are attached. A circular rejection is the attack spawned from hs blue "B" card. Marluxia also has two sleights. Blossom Shower is comprised of a "B" card + an "A" card + a"B" card, while Deathscythe requires an "A","B",and "C" card.

    His deck is as follows:
    "A" attack cards: 0,0,1,2,3,4,4,5,5,6,6,7,7,7,8,8,8,9,9,9
    "B" attack cards: 0,0,1,2,3,4,4,5,5,6,6,7,7,7,8,8,8,9,9,9
    "C" attack cards: 0,0,1,2,3,4,4,5,5,6,6,7,7,7,8,8,8,9,9,9

    elixer: 9,9
    enemy card: Marluxia

Here's my guide like DF said he has Deathsycthe and blossom shower however for me these were rubbish you can aviod both
Deathscythe: just keep moving to the left and to the right and it'll miss
Blossom Shower:Move to the oppisite side of the screen and it should miss, just
after dodging a slate attack with a three card combo that isn't a slate rinse and repeat until dead
