I heard that Nintendo has already made a new Mario Party. I have a couple of Mario Parties but I think it's ridiculous that they have already made a number 8! I personally feel that the first ones had fun mini-games and amazing story plots but if you own some of the new ones like Mario Party 7 you can tell that Nintendo is running out of ideas plus now there mini-games are boring! I dont know how long they're willing to go. But that's just me, what do you guys think?
Yeah, the Mario Parties are losing out. I personally thought 6 was better than 7. The next one is coming for the Wii, so hopefully the remote can do something for them to bring the series out of its slump. Here's hoping.
I agree. They just don't seem that...fun anymore. Hopefully the Wii will make a big difference in terms of 'fun'... All we need now is a 300 based Mario game.
"THIS.....IS......MUSHROOM KINGDOM!!!" Just had to. XD I've played up to 7 and agree that it is losing it. not to mention if you go back and play a few of them, you'll notice that many of the games are just direct copies of one another. Although I kinda liked the idea of using the mic at first, except when it barely understands you and the game starts chewing you out for not saying "yes" or "no". Although we've discovered "vodka" means "yes" in Mario party 7. Try it. It's quite funny. XD
The mic games were hilarious. The game in 7 that had a player say one of the fruits on the platforms, and only that fruit would stay up and the rest of the platforms would fall. It'd be hilarious to say fruits that weren't there, and the players would be like "Wait.. wtf there's no Melon!" and scramble to see which one would stay up.
I've never played Mario Party myself but I've seen other people playing it. But to make 8 games with the same concept is just ridiculous. Do I need to bring up Romance of the Three Kingdoms who has TEN installments? Hopefully the Wiimote can make things interesting. Maybe a flicking motion will roll the dice? I don't know. -shrug-
Mario Party 8, eh? Wow, I never expected Mario Party would get so big. Since it's for the Wii, it will probably be loads of fun if you have all 4 people playing. Personally, I would never buy a Mario Party game since it'd only be useful during Summer, or on the weekends.
