Kingdom Hearts Mandy Moore

Im one of those people that played Kingdom Hearts 2 first, because it was given as a Christmas present, so I had no idea really what happened in KH 1 until I researched being obsessed with the second game I bought the first and was equally as impressed however something that really got on my nerves in the second game was Aerith's voice, Mena Suvari, everytime I heard it I wnated to punch the TV screen, she sounded so stoned and spaced out when I played KH1 I was really impressed with the vocie acting of Mandy Moore, she sounded exactly how I thought the english Aerith should sound, feminine but strong and a little flirty. Im so dsiappointed that she didn't carry on, anyone else prefer this voice?

 

I prefer ANY voice than Mena Suvari. She sounded....dead and zombie like.

 

Heck yes. Mandy Moore did a much better job than Mena Suvari could ever have HOPED to do, in my opinion.

 

Wasn't because Mena Suvari played Aerith in Advent Children that she sounded that way? Over all, I still referred Mandy Moore as Aerith's voice actress.

 

Mandy Moore was excellent, and I was EXTREMLY pissed when Mena Suvari came instead. I don't care if that's who they got for Advent Children, I personally didn't like her voice there either.

 

yeha, I liked mandy moore better - when I heard the KHII voice I was like "...is she...sleepy maybe?" =O

 

I wondered if they asked her to do AC, if they didn't thats their lost Im afraid. Im always going to think of Mandy as Aerith's voice.

 

Mena Suvari sounded like a robot, with no emotion. >_< Ick, it was painful to watch.

Mandy Moore did surprisingly good voice acting in the first one, I wish she'd done the second one too. xP

 

They would'nt get her back because most FF fans did'nt like her.

 

Im pretty sure most FF didnt like Suvari's voice mostly ive heard nothing but postive remarks about Moore. Very negative comments about Mena.

 

mandy moore did aerith voice in khI? oo i love her songs and her voice it sounds so much better than Mena Suvari she has like no emotion like when the part "we miss you" did not how i expected when i heard her said that she sucks

 

I'd prefer Mandy Moore over Mena in anything.

 

Personally, I prefer Mandy. I think Mena had the potential, but she was incredibally lacking in the enthusiasm. :p She DID sound spaced. However, I think she fit the role of Aerith in Advent Children. But she didn't necessarily say much to ruin the sound of Aerith in that movie. She had many more lines in KH2. But I still loved Mandy as Aerith MUCH more than I did Mena.

 

I'de prefer mandy, like you said, very strong and has feelings.....unlike Mena, uhhhhhh! I wished sephiroth killed her now!
